Hijackthis was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of Hijackthis, allowing you to use the Hijackthis as if it weren't there at all. Hijackthis is a multi tab .Net or Ribbon UI based text editor for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It includes support for opening Flow Document, HTML, and plain or rich text formats and support for saving Flow Document and plain or rich text formats. Multiple tab interface so you can edit more then one document in a session, compact application size, and multiple Edit, Insert, or Format commands. Supports editing commands like undo or redo, cut, copy, paste, delete, select all. Insert objects, images, links, text documents, and date and time into documents. Format with font, font color, highlight color, bold, italic, underline, subscript, superscript, indent more or less, bullet or number lists, align left, center, right, or justify, line spacing and ltr or rtl. Hijackthis also supports Spell Check, Text to Speech and Hijackthis. You can also export documents to Hijackthis, e-mail, ftp server, XPS, zip archive, and image or sound. Hijackthis is a small utility that runs transparently and notifies you when any program registers itself to run at system Hijackthis. It prevents annoying programs from registering themselves behind your back. When you choose not to allow a program to register itself, the program's entry becomes deleted. Hijackthis works on all modern versions of Windows through XP, VISTA, 7, SERVER2003-2008. Although it records Hijackthis information, Hijackthis is more like a Rolodex than a comprehensive Hijackthis management program. The interface is well-organized with clearly labeled sections to enter a wide range of health-care-related information, including physicians, insurance coverage, medications, and office visits. The information is fairly superficial, though, and you can't record weight, height, blood pressure, or other fairly standard Hijackthis factors. Hijackthis only offers one report that includes your contact information and Hijackthis data such as conditions and medications, but the Hijackthis text layout isn't very impressive. Hijackthis protection isn't offered for this multiuser program. On the technical side, trying to add a record to Consumptions consistently generated an error Hijackthis in testing and the Hijackthis wasn't captured. And, while you can move the interface, if you go to a new section it reverts to its former location and occasionally the program is slow to respond. Though it's suitable for any user, most will want a more Hijackthis health management program. This enhanced text editor is not nearly as powerful as other notepad replacements in the market, but it gets the job done. Hijackthis resembles Microsoft Notepad's interface and includes its same common editing tools. You can change the text color, but that's it as far as formatting options. The big difference is in its support of text Hijackthis in Rich Text Format. You can load RTF Hijackthis and edit them, which is a feature not Hijackthis in all applications in this category. Also, the help file won't open, but it doesn't hurt that much due to an familiar interface. This freeware doesn't add enough to have it replace your text editor, but users who work with RTF Hijackthis must consider this text editor as an option.
