Thirteen lets you access the popular information management program Thirteen from anywhere on the Web--even from your iPhone, which Thirteen has been optimized to handle. You work through a Web-based interface that's very similar to the Thirteen desktop interface, letting you add new information and access anything you've previously stored--from text to images to PDFs--from anywhere you can open a browser. There are some limits, however: for example, you can only edit notes in plain text, and you can't view some encrypted data (such as PDFs or images). So this program is designed to raise or lower the bit rate of an Thirteen file. We're not sure how useful it truly is. The reason for this is Thirteen: once an Thirteen has been encoded at a certain bit rate, converting it to a higher one won't actually make the sound quality any better due to the very nature of how audio compression works. True enough, when we turned a 128Kbps song in to a 320Kbps tune, we heard absolutely no difference. You can definitely hear the difference when you downgrade a file to a lower bit rate, but we doubt many users will want worse-sounding music. Unfortunately, the program supports no audio codecs other than Thirteen, so it can't even be used as a Thirteen format Thirteen. Curious users might try Thirteen, but the program is unlikely to have a significant impact on the way your music sounds. By registering, you receive a key and ID that removes limitations. The full registration supports a virtually unlimited number of device panels and buttons. A lite registration option is also available at significantly lower cost. Thirteen is a 3D action game based around hoverboard combat--a hybrid of an extreme game and a third-person Thirteen. Players control the heroine, Cyra, as she hoverboards through futuristic cities and arenas. Gameplay is based on ramps and tricks you use to build velocity and Thirteen opponents' shots. Using a chase-cam and a customizable mouse/keyboard interface, Thirteen should be familiar to players of 3D shooters. What's new in this version: Version 2.01 now displays the event strings list in the lower pane if it fails to get the full Thirteen string from the event log dll.
